I Love Travel


My first photographic experience was with a plastic toy camera received as a gift when I was about 12.
I loved that camera and took hundreds of black and white pics, annoying everyone and spending all my pocket money on film and processing.
I couldn't wait to get the photos back from the shop to see how (if) they turned out.
My equipment has advanced since those days and so has my world view.
Along the way I have detoured through beautiful and interesting places.
One thing I have discovered in my travels is the experience is exponentially enhanced if you can share it with someone else.
A deserted beach, mountain top view or a gurgling stream in a rain forest is a place for relection and meditation, but it is also a deeper force if you are with someone you care about.
And capturing some of that magic to share with others is very satisfying.

I live in Hervey Bay, a small town about 3 hours drive north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Married with 3 inspiational kids and three beautiful Grandkids, I am mostly retired and can indulge in my hobby a bit more these days.
